Accessibility statement
Our commitment to WCAG 2.2 AA, the measures we have taken, and how to report an accessibility issue.
Last updated:
1. Our commitment
Corpshore Dominicana is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of building a good product, not an afterthought, and we work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the widely recognised international standard.
2. Scope
This statement applies to corpshore.com.do, including its content, forms, interactive features and language versions. It does not cover third-party websites we link to, which have their own accessibility practices.
3. Measures we take
We build and maintain the site with accessibility in mind, including:
- Semantic structure and landmarks on every page, with a skip-to-content link so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass repeated navigation.
- Full keyboard operability: every interactive element, including menus, tabs, the cost calculator, the delivery-map selector, forms and the booking flow, can be operated with the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and no keyboard traps.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, decorative images marked so assistive technology skips them, and text equivalents for the interactive map and charts.
- Colour is never the only signal: status, urgency and meaning always carry text or shape as well as colour, and we work to meet the contrast ratios WCAG requires.
- Respect for user preferences: we honour `prefers-reduced-motion` so animations are reduced or removed for people who ask for that, support text resizing up to 200 percent without loss of content or function, and provide touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Accessible forms: fields are labelled, errors are described and associated with their inputs, and submission status is announced to screen readers through a live region.
- Language: each page declares its language so screen readers pronounce content correctly, and the site is available in Spanish, English, French and Haitian Creole.
4. Compatibility
The site is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari) on desktop and mobile, and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers. Because the range of devices and assistive technologies is large, some combinations may work better than others; if you encounter a problem with a specific setup, please tell us.
5. Technical approach
Accessibility relies on standards-based HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and on assistive technologies supporting those standards. Where we use richer components, we implement recognised patterns (for example, tabs, dialogs and disclosure widgets) with appropriate roles and states.
6. Ongoing testing and governance
We test accessibility on an ongoing basis, combining automated checks built into our development process with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, and we address issues as they are found. Accessibility is considered when we add or change features, so the site improves over time rather than regressing.
7. Known limitations
Some third-party embedded tools, such as the scheduling widget and mapping embeds, are outside our direct control; where accessibility issues arise in those tools we work with the providers and offer an alternative way to complete the task (for example, contacting us directly to book a call). If you find any other barrier, we want to know so we can fix it.
8. Feedback and how to report a problem
If you experience any difficulty using this site, or you need information in a different format, please contact us at info@corpshore.solutions. To help us respond quickly, please tell us the page or feature involved, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports promptly and to resolve issues or provide the information another way as soon as we reasonably can.
9. Alternatives
If a part of the site is not accessible to you, contact us and we will provide the information or complete the task with you by another means, such as by email or phone through our group contact channels.
